A Healthy Habit You Must Develop

Its seems a though everybody has been on a green tea binge lately which is great because its a very healthy habit. I am so very excited about all the positive research about the benefits of green tea. The good news just keeps coming. But, you might not want to believe me. After all, I’m just your nice local science-reporting cosmetics queen. (and yes, that is my official title) Instead, check out the peer-reviewed data available everywhere:

2001 International Journal of Cancer
Drinking green tea can help prohibit and prevent chronic gastritis and stomach cancer. This was a study that was done using people and not animals, for analysis. You certainly aren’t dealing with fish and green tea. We are talking about actual people in China.

2003 International Journal of Cancer
Green tea can actually hinder the production of some type of cancer. If your blood cells contain angiogenesis then cancers will develop. So this means that having a healthy habit of green tea can actually stop cancers from growing and spreading further.

2006 Journal of American Medical Association
Carcinogenic deaths have really decreased due in part to green tea. This study proved that people who drank a lot of green tea had lower death rates due to cancer. In conclusion, green tea has appeared to help people avoid or completely recover from cancer much more effectively.

2009 American Journal of Epidemiology
Green tea will also help to prohibit blood and lymph cancers. There has been a new study released from Japan stating that by drinking 5 cups of green tea daily you will reduce you chances of getting these cancers by up to 50 percent.

Green tea is really a habit worth keeping. If you do not already have the habit, then start working on it right now. Believe me, its so much better and better for you than trying to start some new bad habit. Take a supplement or brew your own, either way you are getting beneficial nutrients. Doesn’t taste good?
