Big Dark Circles Under My Eyes :(?

I'm 15, and recently i can't sleep! I stay awake for ages and then i tend to drift off but i suddenly start thinking of something so i wake back up again! Also, i can't lay-in, i'm always known to be up at like 8:30at the latest. I don't know why though! It's really horrible!
Since this, i've started to get dark circles under my eyes and they are sometimes puffy and sort of swollen; like i've been hit or something… it isn't nice!
I cover it up with make-up usually, but is there any other ways of getting rid of them all together? So i don't have to worry my make-up isn't covering them?
By the way, i don't want to have to buy products that say they help, i would rather use natural things, like tea-bags for example, but do they actually work?
Also, is there any natural methods, to help me get a proper good nights sleep? As i hate feeling tired throughout the day. (i don't want to take pills or sleeping drugs though)
Thank you so much! :)

Suggestion:

I wonder if you have regular bowel habbits, know this may sound crazy but it can cause those dark circles and swelling!
Buy yourself a bag of natural wheat bran (under a pound) and put one heaped tablespoon on your cereal or fruit every morning…..guarenteed to keep you regular. If your digestion is mucked up it can often prevent good solid sleep.
Chant a little mantra over and over if you find your brain running a marathon when all you want to do is to sleep Try to resolve issues or problems before going to bed, if you cant then write them down for dealing with when you are nice and fresh.
Cucumber and cold tea bags will help in the short term but do not address the underlying problems, remember that at your age you only really need about six hours sleep, its only us oldies that need lots!

Apply cool tea bags, an ice cube wrapped in soft cloth, or cucumber slices to your eyes daily. The tannin in tea bags has been shown to reduce swelling and discoloration, and cucumber slices have long been used to reduce puffiness and refresh the appearance of skin around the eyes. Lie down, preferably in the morning, and leave fresh cucumber slices or cool, damp caffeinated tea bags (you can refrigerate them overnight so they’ll be ready) over your eyes for about 10-15 minutes. Keep your eyes closed.

If you are one of those people drinking energy drinks or taking caffeine pills, that's why you can't sleep. Stop using it and you will be able to sleep. Turn off the computer, cell phone, and stop all texting for at least an hour before going to bed. It will give you time to rest your mind and settle down so you can fall asleep.

I like leonie's answer…

I've heard Cucumbers work (cutting them into slices and putting them over your eyes) i've heard that they get rid of the fluid which causes dark circles. :)

Try to clear your mind before you sleep, i use to have the same problem.. now i'm so tired i just close my eyes and im off to dream land aha :)

If this fails maybe ask a beautician about the dark circles.
