It used to be pretty fast, but now I cant even load youtube videos or some web pages just time out because its so slow. And it takes ages to download anything now, when before it would take seconds.
All the other computers in my house are fine, its just my laptop.
I did a factory reset of the computer, so absolutely everything was wiped clean and its now back to the way it was when I bought it, but the problem is still there.
My security, 'Security Shield 2010' picks up no viruses or anything when I scan it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Suggestion:
Something might be running in the background for updates. Try to disable updates on your laptop like the Security Shield.

How do you connect to the internet? Dial up? Cable modem? Wireless? Need to know that before giving you any suggestions.
