My Sisters Hamster is Shaking and Wobbling When It Walks, It Back is Hunched, and Its Eyes Are Partly Open?

Okay so my little sensitive sister's hamster is pretty young idk the exact age but when he walks he wobbles and shakes. His eyes are partly closed. And his back is hunched up. My neighbor noticed that he has no water, so that could be the problem. I need help on knowing if he's going to make it or not so that I can try to make up a lie so that my sister won't be so devastated. Any advice helps a lot. Please.

Suggestion:

I don't have a hamster but I have a gerbil and the two are very similar. It sounds like a stroke to me. It could be dehydration if the poor thing doesn't have water, but when my gerbil has strokes he is very wobbly and falls when he tries to get up and one of his eyes or both are more closed than usual. With gerbils usually rest and relaxation is the best for them. Try putting a towel over one side of the cage, make a cozy nest for him if he doesn't have one, lower the water bottle, and hand feed him if necessary. I don't think you'll need to make up an excuse for your sister sense the hamster is young but good luck, hope the little one makes it!

Take it to the vet.

Sounds like he's sick, and probably not going to make it… Best thing is to be honest, let her have her tears, that's how we learn to deal with living, the in between and dying!
"My neighbor noticed that he has no water…"
Quite frankly, if she has been neglecting it, you should be angry and explain to her that this is what happens when we don't properly care for living, breathing, feeling, dependent beings. How come you didn't notice the hamster was out of water? Shame on all of you!

well this happemed to my hamster and it starrted to get diaria and even if you take it to the vet and get medicine it will still die
