Eating Protein Rich Foods.
There are many different sources of protein that can help prevent grey hair. The easiest to add into your diet is simply whole grains. You can find any virtually product that is normally made with heavily processed grains in a form that is made with whole grains. These products will also usually be healthier and can, quite often, taste just as good or better. Other sources of protein include meat, egg whites, and soy.
Vitamins And Minerals To Prevent Grey Hair
You can take any of the following vitamins in supplement form, there are even supplements that include a proper mix of these that are made specially for preventing or curing grey hair. However, it cannot hurt to replace something that is already part of your diet with a food that will also aid in preventing grey hair.
The first vitamin suggested is Vitamin A. This vitamin is also used heavily by your body to help you see. Good sources of Vitamin A can be dark green vegetables and yellow fruits. Carrots also are a major source of Vitamin A. It is a wives tale that rabbits like carrots so much because it helps them see. Aside from vision, Vitamin A is very important in your bodies metabolism and can help keep your hair its natural color.
Vitamin B is the second recommended vitamin. Vitamin B can be found in many foods such as green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, cauliflower, bananas, cereals, yogurts, wheat germ, and yeast.
The minerals you should be taking include zinc, iron, and copper. Zinc is many things people already eat such as red meat, chicken, and green vegetables. Iron can also be found in red meat, especially beef. It is also present in dried apricots, parsley, eggs, and sunflower seeds. Copper is also found in sunflower seeds, as well as almonds and cashews. Crabs, oysters, egg yolks, and many different whole grains are also a great source of copper.
