Why is the United States Like the Only Country Where the Drinking Age is Above the Age of Majority?
In India the "legal"age is 18 but drinking ages varies from 18-25 depending on area and even they are thinking about lowering it.In my opinion the "age of majority" should be raised to 21 it should have never been lowered to 18 but in Alabama its 19 Nebraska 19 and Mississippi its 21 the age when you are in adult its true but every other state its 18 but in my opinion in the 1970's there were BLOOD border and in the states drinking ages varied from 18 to 21 meaning maybe not intentionally but a 19 year old could go to another state where you can drink at 18 but in his state the drinking age is 21 and get alcohol and bring it to their state and get in trouble and their drinking age is different as a result there was Underaged" drinking!I wish we could reverse time and prevent all this madness cause we need a SINGLE age for when a person becomes an adult and can do anything!
Suggestion:
I think you're confused.

Because at 18 the military has the chance to grab kids before they hit college and actually make careers for themselves. 18 years isn't old enough to drink (21 isn't really either, given the statistics) so that was raised hoping that kids would be smarter about it by the time they were 21. In my opinion it should be 25 the rate things are going.
No, we're simply the only one who isn't an Islamic theocracy with a high drinking age.
